This program was launched in 2002 with the collaboration of the Saint-Joseph University in Lebanon, via the Institute of Health Management and Social Protection ( IGSPS ). It prepares students for a  challenging and promising career, by providing an academic preparation to the development of a basic knowledge in human body systems and into learning the different international disease coding systems, according to the international Classification of Diseases, ( ICD-9-CM and CIM-10 ).
