GlobeMed Saudi is a leading healthcare benefits management company incorporated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2004. It is the first Third Party Administrator (TPA) in the country to be licensed from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) in 2008, and qualified by the Council of Health Insurance (CHI) in 2010. Since the launching of our operations, we have administered health benefits programs for the public and private sectors, managing thousands of insured members. Today, we put our expertise and experience at all payers’ disposal to help improving access to healthcare within and outside the Kingdom while containing cost.


We are continuously disrupting the industry with our innovative solutions from providers’ network management to utilization management and review, as well as business intelligence tools. Furthermore, our pioneering technology is another main pillar we depend on to deliver unparalleled service. Not only are we digitizing most of the processes, but we are also automating them whenever possible.

GlobeMed Saudi is incorporated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2008

 GlobeMed Saudi is the 1st TPA in to be licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

2010

GlobeMed Saudi is qualified by the Council of Health Insurance (CHI).

2017

GlobeMed Saudi is appointed by the Ministry of Health (MoH) for the management of the referral process and claims from public facilities to private providers.

2019

GlobeMed Saudi is chosen by the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) as one of the 2 TPAs to manage the claims cycle related to all occupational injury cases.

2020

GlobeMed Saudi is appointed by MoH to manage the claims of COVID cases in the private sector.

2021

GlobeMed Saudi is appointed by the CHI for the management of the claims cycle of the health insurance fund.

With more than 33 years of experience, GlobeMed was one of the first organizations to introduce the Third Party Administrator (TPA) model in the MENA region. We have expanded our presence through our award-winning TPA franchisees across the Middle East and North Africa. Today, our 11 fully-fledged operations are servicing more than 220 clients in the public and private sectors. We are processing nearly USD3 billion of claims annually from the largest healthcare network in the region with over 24,000 directly contracted providers and more than 120,000 providers worldwide through our cooperation with international partners.

GlobeMed also has the unique privilege of being both a TPA franchisor, and a health insurance systems vendor. Over the years, our solutions have evolved through the hands-on experience of our franchisee operations and have been successfully tested in many distinct markets. With franchisee operations in 11 countries, GlobeMed benefits from exposure to different operational standards, market practices, regulatory frameworks, and a wide variety of health schemes requirements; all those dimensions greatly influenced us to apply continuous improvement on the system.
